Winemaking: thermo-controlled alcoholic fermentation at 22-24°C (71-75°F), maceration for 2 week
Ageing: 12 months in French barriques
Alcohol content: 15% Vol.
TASTING NOTES
Color: dense ruby red.
Bouquet: on the nose notes of vanilla and cinnamon, dark chocolate and humus. Hints of ripe cherry and black currant compote are interwoven with licorice notes in perfect balance.
Taste: on the palate it is warm and soft, with smooth and fine tannins. Nice persistence.
Serving temperature: 16° - 18° C (60°- 64° F)
Suggested pairings: honey-glazed duck fillet, chickpeas soup, roasted lamb and grilled meat.
